*Peaks around the corner* Who's there?! He says slowly encroaching from the corner into the next room. Then with a sudden crash and a loud scream. The Bump Monster appeared.
Its cavernous maw yawned as a fearful rattling noise emanated from it...
Stunned by the shear sight of it, the young adventurer could but only quiver silently whilst paralyzed in fear as The Bump Monster approaches.
Then it spoke to him in a warbling voice that brought to his mind the horrors of the deep. A shiver overtook him at this momentous moment; he could scarcely remember the accursed words, hearing only the " ...Run, prey. "

Snapping himself out of the reverie, the adventurer turned to flee... but the Bump Monster was waiting behind him!

It was at this moment the brave adventurer knew if he were to make it out of this alive, He had but one chance to do so. Gathering all his courage, The Adventurer took up his sword standing his ground against the Bump Monster! The Adventurer dashed forward with Great speed!!! Then the Bump Monster bumped him with its belly, sending him flying, his thoughts racing in terror as he lost consciousness.

When next the young adventurer awoke, he smelled marrentil incense and heard the chanting of Saradomonist prayers. He was alone in the humbly furnished room, so he sat up in the strange bed and looked outside the window. There was no doubt that he was in the Edgeville Monastery.

The adventurer gingerly touched his aching shoulder. A heat pulsed, ironically leaving him shivering; and he uncovered the bandages there to witness the mark of the Bump Monster.

Now and forever, I must watch my back, he realized with dread.
