Cows have panoramic vision, meaning they can see upwards of 300 degrees except for a blind spot directly behind them.

However, they have poor depth perception in front of them, which is why they tend to startle easily. (To see to the sides, they rely on each eye's monocular vision, through which depth perception is impossible.)
