Sadly, there were no sigils or pets, but there were a lot of Oldak Coils, along with double-digit turnout, and much KC to be had! Also, cannonballs. :)

It's a great time for PvM with Thok's Smashing Buffs active! I'm sure we'll have even more boss masses and groups than usual over the next couple of weeks, scheduled or spur.

He revealed the Bump Monster's emblem, which pulsed as if basking in the attention, sending tendrils of pain up to his neck. "A friend of mine tried to study it, but it responded by bringing me unbearable agony."

Freya frowned sympathetically. "There are few monsters that could leave marks so powerful, and fewer still that have such a concentration of anima." The adventurer started at those words; he had not mentioned that. "Allow me..."

The Lady of the Lake ran a hand over the mark, though she did not touch it. "I believe I understand... This is the work of the Bump Monster. It was not a question. "This mark is Curse of Destiny. Until you fulfill what you have been charged with, it will not fade."

"And what is it that I have to do?" the adventurer inquired, his heart sinking.

'That is for you to find out." The words were quiet and sad, chilling him to the bone.


With still so many questions racing throughout his mind, The Adventurer bid farewell to The Lady of the Lake. Before he could turn to leave Freya left The Adventurer a parting gift and some words of relief. "Though you may be scared now, there will come a time you will look back and be able to come to terms with your destiny and accept why you were chosen" "So fear not Brave warrior, for you are stronger than you seem and wiser than you know" Freya hands The Adventurer a talisman. "Now take this and keep it close." Upon receiving the talisman The Mark from the Bump monster began to subside...
