1) I usually like the more serious story types of anime, but I’ve watched a lot of anime and read a lot of manga, so I’* pretty diverse in my watch list. They are not listed in any particular order here: PeaceMaker Kurogane, Wolf’s Rain, Gundam Seed Destiny, Fruits Basket, Hi*urashi no Naku Koro ni, HunterxHunter, Darker Than Black, Amnesia, Paranoia Agent.
2) Yes, I have read the rules and plan to follow them. I feel that treating everyone with respect and courtesy is the most important one.
3) I would tell them I disliked it and if they asked why I would give them the reason(s) politely. With anime and manga, I don’t usually end up absolutely disliking anything. I usually start an anime, watch it for a few episodes, and then give my opinion about it. If I end up liking it, I keep watching it. That aside, I’m not the type of person to criticize someone for liking something I don’t like, especially anime or manga. If the other person likes it, they are free to do so; just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean they don’t have to dislike/like as well.
4) Surprisingly, I actually read all of it. Yes, even the history section on page 2.
5) I was referred to your clan by Ty the Grim and Ik*toHoshina.
6) I live in the EST time zone so it shouldn’t be too hard for me to participate. However, I do work during the week, so I’m not sure how many events I’ll be able to participate in.
7) I don’t think I have an account on MAL. I don’t remember if I have one already.
8) The friends who recommended it said its a cool place to meet other people who like anime and manga. I also hope to learn about new anime/manga too.
9) The invitation statement is a good way for the clan admins to find potential members who will be active in the clan. However, I would hope the admins to check this thread often to look for new applications, but I do understand that the admins cannot always do that.
