Cabbage Facts:

In the past, the actors of the theater group liked to get together and gather during the winter period. However, there was a religious fast, and eating meat and vegetables was forbidden at that time.

Cabbage Fact:

Cabbage develops head 70 to 120 days after planting. Head can be elongated, pointed or rounded, depending on the variety. Rosette composed of 7 to 15 leaves can be seen at the beginning. Subsequent leaves are inwardly oriented. They have short petiole and develop close to each other, leading to the formation of densely packed head.

Cabbage Facts:

Cabbage comes from wild mustard. It is a card-carrying member of the Brassica family, an extensive family that includes collard greens, Brussels sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower. Plants with large terminal buds became cabbage, while desirable leaves became kale and collard greens. Chinese broccoli and Brussels sprouts were developed from plants with large lateral buds and the stem was developed to become kohlrabi.
