Nothing wrong with observing a clan before one decides to take the next step. Rushing the process and forcing people to speak in the chat is a no go. Should someone else who decides to join and may take time to open up to the chat, will you do the same to this person?

This clan is so supportive and un-problematic. I'm a 10 year vet and never lasted more then a couple of months in a clan because there was always some sort of pre-existing drama going on. These girls feel like IRL friends and everyone has been welcome.
Sometimes we're quiet because 1. it's a global group, 2. some play on laptop with the chat closed and 3. we chat on discord so if you drop in as a guest, just say hi and initiate a conversation or we might not notice you.

We are a very open clan and all speak our minds in clan chat. With the amount of "observers" we get, we actually can "demand" a hi, as this is about decency and filters out the creeps or rude people. We have lots of girls that took time to open up, but not one of them thinks a hi is too much to ask for or is a no go. So yes, we will be exactly the same. If people really aren't welcome we instantly kick, no hesitation. This is how we keep our clan relaxed and drama free, but then people decide to leave comments on forums

From my application post here, I had put "I consider myself a bit reserved online, but once I'm more comfortable with people I can have fun and relax!" - that was back in April and ever since I've joined I've had a lovely, chill time with Mermaids. ^_^
