1. Jagex Rules - All Jagex rules are to be followed. It’s their game and we’re living in it. For reference, the Runescape rules can be found here .

2. Have fun - This is a game and should be treated as such with the people you enjoy being around, doing things you enjoy doing. We’ll always try to promote a fun environment.

3. Respect - "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you”. We expect this rule to apply not only with clanmates, but with others as well. You will be representing as a clan member of

. If something you say is bothering someone else and they ask you to stop, you can continue your conversation with others either via pm or in a friend’s chat. If a conversation someone else is having is bothering you, be respectful in your disapproval and ask them to take it private.

4. Language - Serene Solace has a friendly, mature chat environment and as such, some swearing may occasionally be seen. If this is a problem for you, we suggest turning on the profanity filter provided in game. Vulgarities or insults directed at another clan member or any racial, homophobic or sexist slurs will not be tolerated and will be subject to warnings and/or removal from the chat channel.

5. Alternate Accounts - You are welcome to have one alt account in the clan at any time. For standard members alternate accounts will show as a Recruit. For officer members, alternate accounts will be ranked as a General to maintain basic officer functionality.

6. Communication - Shortly after being invited to the clan, you may be invited to our Skype and Discord group chats. Please treat all external forms of communication as if they are a part of the clan, these are the same people you deal with in game and should be treated as such. If you need to go inactive, just let us know either via PM to a staff member or through our Skype group chat.

7. Appropriate Behavior - Since we promote a mature environment, we ask you to act as such. No scamming, constant cursing, tantruming, rage quitting clan activities... you get the picture. None of this will be considered at any time. If an officer rank person asks you to stop something, trust them that it is for the best interest of the clan and yourself.

8. No Begging - We ask that you not take advantage of other members by trying to get money and/or items from them. If someone genuinely wants to help you out of the kindness of their heart, then that is fine. Constantly asking for items is certainly frowned upon and you will be warned to stop.

9. Rank Procedures - We will do rank ups on a bi-weekly basis based upon what is being put into the clan. All rank-ups are decided by the council and voted upon. Begging or petitioning for a certain rank will be frowned upon and could delay the procedure. If you feel there might have been something we overlooked, respectfully ask one of the owners what you might do differently to stand out. Capping at the citadel is one good way to be noticed for rank, and all staff ranks are required to do so as part of their duties.

For members that cap at the citadel, you will be entered into our prize drawing done when citadel resets on Friday evenings.

— Events —

All members are welcome and will try to be included into all events that will be held. Most events should be held where there are minimum skill/level requirements, with the exception of certain PvM events due to the mechanics of them. If you’re not sure, it doesn’t hurt to ask, as a new adventure is always fun!

Events may be hosted by a non-Staff Member after given permission. If you have a idea for an event, feel free to contact an Officer to potentially co-host and ascertain the viability of it. If we can get a great new event going from your idea, it shows us a lot about you and your ability to get others involved in the clan atmosphere.

Official events require the rank of General, but anyone is allowed to get a group of clannies together for bossing, minigames, or whatever strikes the group’s fancy. Official events are hosted at a specific time and date each week, and are posted on our clan broadcast system each week. Event attendance is recorded, so please make sure you are in the appropriate FC if you want to ensure you’re recognized. If you have an idea for an event and are not of the rank for being able to host it yourself, you have the option to co-host it with a member of the appropriate rank.

The clan meets in a Friends Chat to watch a most-voted-for movie off of Netflix. The group then counts down and each person starts the movie at the same time. We talk, commentate and enjoy whatever movie was chosen. May be substituted for other off-game stuff, web card/board games (cards against humanity, etc).

We get together as a group and go to godwars to have some laid back fun. Bigger drops are typically split across the group, While smaller drops (less than one million gp) are free for all.
