The Harmonic Alliance is fundamentally a clan made of friends and we strive to keep a mature, friendly and drama free environment in our clan. Everyone wishing to join our Alliance of awesome individuals understands the value of peace and harmony within a clan and may participate in everything that is going on. We welcome everyone to our community therefore we do not have any major requirements, our events are not mandatory, and capping is greatly appreciated.

We believe everyone is important and everyone should have equal opportunities for growth in our community, as such, we operate in the various areas of the game, being them skilling, PvM, PvP or just socially hanging out/chatting.

General Rules

All of jagex terms of service and runescape rules apply.

1. Discussing, encouraging, and using methods that violate runescape rules and terms of service is forbidden. You may get kicked if sufficient evidence is provided.

2. Respect – Make sure to respect everyone. If there is a behavior or a topic that you do not agree going on, make sure to ask politely to stop. If someone asks you to stop, you must drop it immediately. Drama of any sort will not be tolerated.

3. We are a fully inclusive clan and racism, homophobia, prejudice and extreme ideologies will not be tolerated and will be subject to possible immediate clan removal.

4. Actions that involve or result in considerable loss in items/money (scamming/luring) to another member are subject to immediate clan removal as well as a report to both jagex and the clans with friendly relations with ours.

5. Do not post or advertise adult content. - Please make sure to use the #nsfw channel (Discord) for that purpose. If you do not have access to that channel, make sure to request it.

6. The clan official language is English. - If you wish to use a different language, please make sure to use private messages/calls for that purpose. Spamming/Flooding will not be tolerated in any language.

7. Do not attempt to find loopholes in the rules to exploit the system. Attempting to do this may result in clan removal.

Guesting Policy

1. All guests will abide by our rules. Guests and clan members alike may not advertise other clans, attempt to recruit our members to other clans and advertise other bossing teams.

2. Any runescape player may guest our Discord and CC for a period of 7 days if they are looking to evaluate the possibility to become a member of our clan. After this period, they will be removed from both Discord and CC.

3. A guest may request permanent access to discord and CC to clan leadership or have it granted directly, which must be approved by majority leadership vote. Only people under the following scopes will be considered:

- Friends of members of the clan in good stance
- Known guests that are whitelisted by leadership
- Leaders of other clans in good stance with Harmonic Alliance

4. Former clan members will not be permitted to guest and will be removed from the server, unless they request permanent guesting under the previous line, in which case, it will be voted under the circumstances described there.

Misc. Rules

1. Make sure to use your runescape name on discord or publish your RS Name in the channel #rs-names (Discord).

2. Do not impersonate leadership members.

Donation Rules

1. All Clan members and guests are welcome to support our clan and donate to the clan treasury.

2. Clan Leadership reserves the right to define the prizes and awards as we see fit for every event. We will not be accepting any donation towards particular events.

Mediation and Disciplinary Rules and Guidelines

1. If you have a problem/conflict with another clan member, please try to solve that conflict by talking and approaching that person privately first.

2. If the first approach came to no resolution and the incident is still occurring, take it to leadership to obtain mediation and to assess the need for disciplinary procedures.

3. Leadership will not act based on sole testimony. Evidence must always be provided (screenshots of the incident and conversations). False testimony and fake evidence if detected can possibly result in immediate clan removal.

4. If the conflict is with a member of leadership, make sure to bring the issue to any other leadership member.

5. If disciplinary action is required, it will be applied accordingly to the severity and the reoccurrence of the incident and the following punishments may be applied: Warnings; Mutes; Deduction of Harmonic Points which may result in rank demotion ; Rank demotion and removal from leadership (if the concerning party is a leader) and Clan removal. Except for the warnings, the other punishments require a strike.

6. We abide by the 3-strike rule: At the third incident caused, clan removal will be applied as the final punishment. If the incident caused is too severe, the strike system may be entirely waived by any leadership member.

7. Strikes will expire after a period of time without incidents of any kind in accordance with the severity of the incident that originated them:

Small Incident – 45 days
Moderate Incident – 180 days.
Severe Incident – This type of incident does not have expiration time and may only expire via leadership decision.

8. If a clan removal is applied to a member as the final decision of the clan leadership, the said member is entitled to appeal this decision only one time. If the appeal is successful, the said member will return to the clan and will be on probationary period for 180 days during which any incident caused will result in clan removal. After the probationary period, the clan leadership will revise the status and decide on how many strikes the member should keep or if all should be wiped clean from the member’s record.


Important Note

We as a clan believe in fairness and equality between members. If you have a concern you may approach any leadership member in order to asess it, propose it and eventually vote on it. We feel strongly about not having the power centered in one person or particular group but rather take the inputs given by our members in order to improve the collective as a clan.

Everyone within Harmonic Alliance can earn a higher rank by contributing to its overall growth. We value these contributions by waiving the requirements for higher ranks or considering the members for Leadership roles.

Our ranking system has seniority requirements for each one of the ranks alongside the experience requirements.


Rank Requirements

The following lists the total amount of Clan Experience as well as the seniority required for each rank.

Recruit
Rank Provided when joining

Corporal
5m clan experience and 2 weeks of clan membership

Sergeant
15m clan experience and 4 weeks of clan membership

Lieutenant
40m clan experience and 8 weeks of clan membership

Captain
75m clan experience and 16 weeks of clan membership

General
100m clan experience and 24 weeks of clan membership OR appointed by clan leadership as honorary member*


Note:

We respect individuality and encourage everyone to play the game at their own pace. Members of Harmonic Alliance can take part in the clan however it suits their play style. There is no right or wrong way to participate or get noticed in the clan as long as it's kindly and fairly done.

The seniority requirements can be waived by a majority vote of the leadership in the event of great loyalty and service towards the clan perpetrated by any clan member.

General is the highest rank one can attain through meeting the requirements or getting appointed due to activity/loyalty. The rank of Administrator and those above it are held by our leadership team, which consists of individuals who are committed to the overall progression of the clan. They take on more responsibilities to help maintain the positive atmosphere we strive for, as well as contribute to the overall organisation of Harmonic Alliance. Feel free to reach out to anyone on this team if you have any questions or concerns regarding Harmonic Alliance or any of its members.

Becoming a member of our Leadership team can be done through two ways: Approaching a Key rank when Leadership openings are asked and who is interested and it will be duely noted and evaluated OR via head-hunting where the Keys will occasionally evaluate potential leadership members, vote on them and offer them a seat in our team.

Honorary members are clan members who meet either of the following circumstances:

1. Have been awarded the rank of Honorary Admin with no leadership responsibilities due to good service provided to the clan as recognized by our clan members.

2. Former Leadership members and Founders who have relinquished the obligations of his/her former office but is highly esteemed due to his/her service, input and value to the clan and has had an irreprehensible conduct both in and out of leadership office.

Clan Name Changes


The clan was founded under a different name. The old name was "The Family Jewels" (TFJ), due to the dislike and the connotation the name could have, it was eventually changed to Moonrise. The said change happened on the 21st of September 2020.

The clan name was changed again on the 9th of October 2021 from Moonrise to Harmonic Alliance.
