Intermittent returning player created in 2007. CB 129 2257 total.
I've never been in a formal clan and have been finding myself alone and bored.
I have 2 kids and a job so my time online is limited to pretty much nights save for a few special occasions or if I go on mobile (which is used for minor things as I hate using mobile)

Only concern that would draw me away is if "higher ranking" members consistently overshadow lowers. I do not enjoy god complexes or narsasisitcness. (I.e. using rank as an argument point when in disagreement or when handling punishments)

The only difference between the ranks is how active they are, and the only difference between the council and normal members is that the council does have some responsibilities, and get a bigger say in any clan changes, there will still be whole clan votes too.

As for god complexes, I don't think anyone is like that, we are new though, but so far the council members seem friendly and helpful. I personally like to roleplay as the god of helmets, just for fun though, its not weird!

I think you'd enjoy organized events too, so look out for those!
