About Demons from The Deep:

Demons From the Deep (DFTD) is a long-standing clan founded in January 2006 by our administrator, Joel . DFTD started out as a group of friends that were mainly from the same secondary school. The clan then gradually grew as the current members had friends through the game and they had friends and so on.

We are a skills based Clan based both in the UK and the USA. We take great pride in our friendly atmosphere within the clan, and welcome players who wish to have some fun in RuneScape with fellow players.

I personally know from past experience how hard it is to find a clan where you can call home and where you can be part of a team and make new friends as you need to find the right community to interact with and feel welcome. We have various members with extensive knowledge of the game that would love to help new members with any queries regarding Runescape and the clan.

¤ Appropriate Conduct

We expect all members to act appropriately and respectfully within the Clan at all times. Behaviour that is offensive or otherwise inappropriate is prohibited.

¤ Following the Rules of RuneScape

We expect all members to follow the RuneScape Rules and encouraging or promoting rule breaking is prohibited.

¤ Clan Citadel Resource Collection

We would like members to collect their share of the resources at the Citadel each week which consists of meeting the resource limit which is set each week by the Citadel Captains.

¤ No Offensive Language

We are an open minded clan, minor cursing is tolerated in the clan but being offensive to another member, staff, nationality, religion and beliefs is unacceptable.

Offensive account names are not acceptable in the Clan Chat.

If you come into the CC on another account, please be sure to let those who are in the CC know who you are.

¤ Must have minimum of 1500 total level (including combat stats) or 90+ combat.
¤ You must be a RuneScape Member to join the clan.
¤ Players must be mature and behave in a respectful manner.
* As we are such close knit clan, we would like to have an opportunity to get to know our new members and for you to have a chance to get to know us. For this reason, we have a probationary period of 2 weeks. This just lets us all make sure we are a good fit for each other.

Applications may ONLY be accepted by the following members:

Joel, Marshy, Jazzers, Mitchypooo, Raj, Tren and myself.


Other members can accept ONLY on behalf of one of these eight members, and must reference that they have been sent to do so, and by whom. If this does not occur, do not consider your application to have been accepted.

Once you have been accepted, you are free to seek an invite into the clan from an Coordinator (or higher) rank in the Clan Channel. You will need to inform them once your application has been accepted.

Our Rank system is mainly based on the experience gained since joining the clan, and the consistency of collecting resources at the citadel. Once a member is ranked, they are never de-ranked unless they break a clan rule or are inactive for a long period of time.

We're extremely proud of the dedicated clan website and forums we have available to our members. The forums we have allow our members to socialise outside of the Clan Chat environment and it's where members can check for any upcoming events, on the calendar system that we have.

Our website also has custom-built software created specifically for Demons From The Deep which allows our members to build up awards for things like achieving 99 in a particular skill, hitting certain total level/combat level milestones and it also displays your recent game activity (if publicly available in your Adventure's Log) all interlinked with RuneScape, our website and our forums. We even have our own custom-build Hiscores and Top 10 based on the awards members gain.
