Hello and welcome to Flare Reborn's Clan recruitment thread.

This thread was made for inviting new members to join our clan, Flare Reborn.

While the basic requirement for joining Flare Reborn is to have a friendly personality; be willing to lend a helping hand; share game knowledge and experience; and be eager to chill and have fun we also require that members are:

- Total level 1500+

Clan Rules
-

1. All Jagex rules apply.
2. While mild swearing is allowed; excessive swearing should be avoided and not aimed them at other players or intentionally offensive. Racism is not allowed at all.
3. Respect all clan members.
4. No multi-clanning.(Activities are permitted).
5. Only 1 account per clan member can be ranked.
6. Be nice and have fun!
7. Several removals from the clan chat leads to a ban.
8. 1 warning (from a captain or above), if this is ignored you will be kicked.
9. Respect all generals, their decisions are final so please do not argue with them.
10. No begging/asking for free items/cash in cc.

What's encouraged:

-Bumping the clan threads;
-Visiting the Citadel and contribute resources;
-Being nice to everyone.

What's NOT encouraged:

-Asking for rank-ups/promotions.

Notes:

-Not following the rules will result in a kick.
-This could also affect your clan rank.
-Repeat offenders may face a ban.

About Flare Reborn
-


Flare Reborn is a friendly skill and chill clan with friendly, helpful members; always on the look out for new members hoping to join. Although we are mainly a skilling clan many of our members like to train combat and use it a lot. Our clan has been around continuously, under various incarnations, since 2007.

We strive to be a mature community where top notch skillers and up and coming but passionate skillers come together to learn, improve or just have a chat while playing within a friendly and relaxing environment. Here high level players can refine their skill to achieve even more ambitious goals and/or mentor our young guns until they are strong enough to pass on their own wisdom.

We do NOT have compulsory events, but we do organise clan events for those who want to attend them, Our clan events can vary from group skilling to boss killing, from proper minigames to any group activity you can think of that enough people want to do. Our members have a wide range of gaming styles; ideal for trying out new things.

- Ranks and Ranking system -

Respect and Value each clan member equally irrespective of their ranks.

All ranks carry the duties and responsibilities of the previous ranks in addition to their new ones.

Recruit
- when you first join Reborn Flare you will be awarded a Recruit rank. Get to know your clanmates by being active in chat and familiarise yourself with the clan rules (basically respect all jagex rules and be nice and respectful towards fellow clan members). You will benefit out of the avatar xp bonus when skilling on its same world (normally World 84). You can also visit the citadel but Jagex will only let you gather resources after you have been in the clan for a week.

Corporal
- the rank is awarded after a MINIMUM of 2 weeks in the clan. You will have to have shown loyalty and commitment to the clan by contributing to resource collection in the citadel in the form of capping at least once, or equivalent. You will also have to have respected the rules and been decently active.

Sergeant
- after a MINIMUM of 3 weeks since being awarded the corporal rank; if you keep showing commitment towards the clan (mainly through gathering resources in the citadel, but bumping the threads and attending events helps too), you may be awarded this rank. You will also need to maintain good and friendly behaviour in chat.

-From here on after ranks will be awarded for being a good clan member, see below for how to earn ranks.

Earning Ranks:

The best ways to get a rank in our clan chat is to:
- Be kind to everyone in clan chat
- Bump each of our threads regularly
- Visit and contribute resources to the Citadel
- Attend Events
- Respect Generals Decisions
- Be active in the clan chat
- Gain Xp in the clan

Lieutenant
- this rank is awarded to those who through their commitment loyalty and general interest in the clan have proved themselves to be role model clan members. You will be trusted with the responsibility to help the clan grow through recruiting and accepting applications on forums.

Captain
- as a captain you will be responsible for moderating and keeping order in the chat when needed. This includes the power to kick anyone engaging in particularly disruptive behaviour, after due warning. As such this rank will only be given to those who show the maturity and integrity to carry on such duty fairly and effectively.

General
- generals can lead the clan in clanwars and are the pool of people who will be called on to fill an admin+ position, if and when such need arises. Generals will also have a role in certain decision making.

Admin+
- can take out the avatar and are encouraged to do so in a way to benefit the clan members in general. Admins + are responsible for the Citadel's management, overall decision making and the day to day running of the clan.


Note: Rank promotions are done when the clan leadership sees the need for higher ranks, not just based on time in clan. If we don't need more leaders then we won't promote, but when we do we look for those that we feel best represent the Flare Reborn attitude and commitment to fun RS play.

Clan Events


Our clan event organizer is:

Clan events are a great opportunity to get together with your clan friends and do something together, either cooperatively or competitively. They are an important part of clan life, and a great way for us to learn from each other.

Clan events in FR are not mandatory. They do contribute towards promotions, but not significantly.

Some typical clan events which are especially useful for all include:
- Stealing creation (combat and non-combat)
- Barbarian Assault
- Dungeoneering floors
- Citadel capping (with clan avatar)

These types of events will usually be planned several days in advance and posted on the clan events list and on the clan noticeboard (in the clan camp and citadel).

Others may be more ad-hoc, either to help out a clan member or due to it's nature, such as a dungeoneering challenge, helping a clan mate reach a milestone, divine location drops, etc.

Anyone may recommend ideas for an event. Our clan event organizer will solicit clan interest for pre-planned events and if the response is positive, schedule the event*

Clan ad-hoc events can be proposed at any time by any member, however, you should be aware that participation is at the whim of the members on-line at that time and may lack the participation you desire depending on how it conflicts with their present activities/goals/interests.

Remember, we do not troll/badger our fellow clanmates to participate in an event. Our clan is an open-activity clan, thus members are free to do whatever activity they want whenever they want, within the rules established for this clan.

Citadel Management


One of the main benefits of a clan (besides the regular friends when skilling) is the benefits that can be had from a clan citadel. From resourceless skilling, to the avatar buffs, to a battlefield for fun fights, the citadel is the ultimate clan resource and gathering point. But, citadels require regular teamwork in order to build, maintain, and grow.

There are three ways that each RF member can help our citadel:
1. Visit the citadel each week (ups the visitor count)
2. Contribute by skilling for whatever amount you can
3. Skill to the weekly cap

Benefits from citadel contributions include:
1. Improved/more skilling plots
2. Xp Reward from the Quartermaster (formerly skilling ring) useful for outside skilling
3. Fealty rewards from your clan cloak (i.e. bonus xp)
4. Clan avatar buffs that provide benefits to all clan mates

In FR, we don't mandate any activity. That includes citadel management. We do, however, look at contributions to the citadel over time when deciding on promotions, as working in the citadel shows commitment that benefits the
clan
over the
individual
.

Remember, when you become an FR member, you can get a clan cloak and clan vexillum from the captain of the guard in the clan camp south of Falador.
