We are a professional skilling clan lead by adults, but we're open to people of all ages. Everyone is held to the maturity level of an adult, no matter what age.


We are open to P2P players, whether you are skiller, die hard monster fighter, or just want to be a part of a large successful community, there is a place for you in Malicious Intent! Malicious Intent has an extremely productive, thriving, diverse community, we have members from many different cultures and backgrounds, and as it stands we have members from at least 17 countries(and still counting) from all over the world. We would all love to meet you and make you a part of our wonderful community!

1. All Jagex gameplay rules apply. Our clan chat must comply with the Jagex forum Rules of Conduct. For ease of communication we also ask that only English is used in our clan chat.

2. Respect the opinions of others and help keep the clan free of argument and drama. If you have a grievance, contact an Admin or higher rank with whom you are comfortable to sort it out.

3. Any clanmate can request a change of chat topic. Administrative and higher ranks are empowered to enforce the changing of chat topics to keep the clan chat drama free.

4. Minor swearing is allowed if used sparingly. Expect to be deranked or kicked from the clan for heavy or constant swearing. If in doubt, do not say it. If warned, do not argue.

5. Do not ask or hint for donations (gp, items) or for a higher rank as we consider these begging.

6. Have fun!

* You must fill out an application to Malicious Intent, and that application needs to be accepted for you to be eligible to be invited to the clan.
¤ As a skilling clan we do have the expectation of all clanmates to contribute xp regularly. We do not set absolute minimums, but instead use clan averages to periodically evaluate activity and xp gains of each clanmate.

1) To apply to Malicious Intent, it's best to first check if you have the requirements and to read the rules(post above).
2) After you have verified that you have met the requirements, copy and paste the application form below(Including the questions).
3) Paste the application into a reply to the thread, you may use the quick reply box at the bottom of the page.
4) Edit your information into the form.
5) Post the reply with completed application form.
6) Read the section below the application form for what you should do after posting your application.
7) After you have been accepted you must private message any of our invitors and set a meeting for the invitation.

After you have been invited to the clan, you will be put into the trial phase, in which you will be ranked as a 'recruit' for 5 days to determine if you're suitable for this clan. Once you pass that you will be a full member of Malicious Intent!

-The quickest way to get to the rank descriptions is to join our clan chat: Malicious Intent, on the clan chat click on the I (Clan Details) button, this opens a clan info menu, under the clan owner text there is a direct link to Malicious Intent - Basic information.

How to Gain Ranks

When you start out in Malicious Intent, you will do so as the Recruit rank. You will undergo a trial period that lasts 5 days, after which you will be ranked up to Corporal. Below are examples of the types of behaviours that will help you be ranked up beyond the Corporal rank.

• Being in our homeworld (W39/W71)
It is very helpful when you need help from other clan members so that you don't need to hop around everywhere. It also unifies the world as our clan world.

• Bumping the recruitment thread
Helping to keep the thread on the front page helps us advertise our clan to potential applicants. See the "Thread Bumping Tips" post for tips on how to do this.

• Following/enforcing clan rules
When you show that you have read the clan's rules by following and enforcing them you will be ranked up quickly.

• Helping out other clan members
Always help others with questions if you have the answer. A little bit of kindness goes a long way.

• Recruiting members
Recruiting helps get our name out to as many possible applicants as possible, which helps our numbers grow.

• Reviewing
If you are Captain+, you can and should review applications when possible. Please post in Discord before reviewing and after.

Clan events are not a huge focus for Malicious Intent, however, when events are held they will be generally in our home worlds (W39/W71), but can be held on other worlds if there is a need for it.

Malicious Intent occasionally offers staff organised events, but also allows anyone in the clan to organise their own event. The events will be advertised in clan chat from time to time by the organiser of the event, the staff, and anyone else who wishes to help advertise the event. Events may be posted on the clan forum, or through Skype and will be updated on the clans noticeboard.

Events are completely optional, but of course if you can come that would be great. After all, the more the merrier!

Thread bumping tips

• Verify the time that the last bump has been posted on the thread.

* The thread doesn't necessarily need to be bumped every 10 minutes on the dot, if the thread is near the top of the page it doesn't need to be bumped

* The 10 minute rule does not apply to application acceptances, you do not need to wait 10 minutes to post for an application reviews( Captain(Silver star) and above may review applications.).

• There are rules to follow when bumping, one of which is not to bump using ASCII art, this violates the rules of the forum.

• Just the word "bump" is fine, you may post other things if you wish but verify they are allowed with the forum code of conduct.

* We would like some diversity in who bumps, if you've been bumping often please let others have the chance to bump the thread as well!

• Anyone may bump the thread we do not have specific people to bump the thread, if you would like to bump the thread feel free to do so!

You are invited to apply to Malicious Intent - Skilling Clan

Here's a few words about our clan to help you decide if you would like to apply:

Hey there!

I'm from Malicious Intent, and I would like to invite you to apply to our clan! We are mainly a skilling clan but we are welcome to players who enjoy all aspects of the game, so you will not be shunned for killing a pesky dragon. We are now an experienced clan with a great community, and we'd like to welcome you to join us in the fun and adventure.

So in short here are a couple basic things about MI:

• We are a skilling clan.
• We are drama free clan.
• We have experienced, level headed and friendly staff members.
• We love to joke around and have fun, we are not at all one of those clans who say, you have to do this! Or that!

Events are not mandatory. In addition to this, our citadel is entirely built out. We do not need any more upgrades all we require is upkeep costs. We have a free for all skilling policy in place at our citadel, you may skill at any plot of your choosing for the entirety of your citadel cap! Citadel work is not mandatory in Malicious Intent.

You're welcome to add and PM any of the Deputy Owners, Overseers or any of the admins if you have any questions or concerns, their PM is (should be!) always on.
