Avatar Rules and Guidelines:

Welcome to the avatar rules and guidelines forum!

Rules:

1) 1 - Avatar should remain on the homeowrld - world 70 unless performing activities that would require a separate world - ie Portables, LRC, world specific activities that the whole clan can participate in, clan events taking place on other worlds.

An example: being you cant take the avatar offworld to train prayer in your poh where other clanmates cant join.

2 - Location of avatar should be regularly announced in cc, so ppl can find it to pay orts, or join in if location is at a bank.


3 - If avatar is needed at a clan event, this will have priority over other activities.

4 - If you will be afk for 5-10 minutes or more dismiss the avatar. Do not lobby for more than 10 minutes with the avatar.

5 - Person capping gets priority of the Avatar.

6 - Do not take Avatar to a world where another Avatar for this clan is located. It cancels each other out and will vanish.

7 - Do not log out with an Avatar. It will vanish for 6 hours and no one will be able to use it.

Avatar Priority -

#1 - Capping Event in Citadel.
#2 - Clan Event.
#3 - World 70, homeworld.
#4 - World specific Event or activity
#5 - Incase of lag or connection issues on 70, 71 will be used an alternative.

The second avatar so long as w70 is covered and no other above priorities are needed, may go to any other world, but must return to homeworld of the other is moved or dismissed.

All quests for locating Penguins every week:

Hunting Penguins is a weekly Distraction where you can earn Experience or Cash by finding the hidden feathered friends. It's not as hard as it sounds, and hopefully this guide can help you learn how it all works!

Each week 10 penguins hide around Runescape. They don't look like normal penguins. They are in disguise! And this bothers a man named Larry at the Ardougne Zoo very much!
Their disguises each week can be:

Crate
Rock
Bush
Toadstool
Barrel
Cactus

and seasonally, they dress as Pumpkins or Snowmen.

Each Penguin is worth 1 point unless you have completed Some like it Cold and Hunt for the Red Raktuber quests. You can also find a Polar Bear and Ghost penguins after completing certain quests. You can get at least 10 points per week without quests by finding them all, and up to 19 points depending on how many quests you have completed. More details below.

Additionally, with a Ring of Visibility you can locate the most elusive penguin of all, the ghost penguin!

Getting Started:

First, make your way to the Ardougne Zoo and speak with Larry. This will allow you to 'spy' the penguins.

Second, you can use the Runescape forums or join us for a clan hunt as we call out the locations of the penguins! Yay!

Finally, once you are all done, and depending on how many quests you have completed, you will speak to either Larry or the Polar Bear agent to turn in your points. You cannot spend them 1 at a time, you must spend them all at once, so if you want to break them up, cash in between penguins. The maximum points you can have is 50. You may choose experience or cash.

The formula for determining how much xp you will get works as follows:
Points x skill level x 25.

Some penguins can hide in quest locked locations. To ensure you can hunt all the penguins, complete the following quests:
Cabin Fever
Death to the Dorgeshuun
Ghosts Ahoy
Lost City

Finally, if you have completed Fate of the Gods, you will NOT need the Ring of Visibility to hunt the ghost penguin.

Penguin hunting is NOT a safe activity and can result in death from aggressive monsters, poisonous traps, Pkers in the Wildernes, Dying of Thirst in the Desert, or any other sort of malady related to the area.
