Requirements & How To Join Surreal


As Surreal is more of a family, we kindly request that you spend some time guesting in our clan chat before submitting an application so we can see how well you mesh with us and vice versa.


Applicant Requirements:

• P2P membership
• A great personality (oh, you!)

How to join our clan chat as a guest:

1. Pull up the 'Clan' interface.
2. Click on the green dot in the bottom right corner.
3. Click on the + sign in the lower left corner.
4. Type in: Surreal
(To chat as a guest, type /// before anything you say).

Surreal's Application Process:

1. Locate our offsite forums via searching 'clansurreal' with your trusted web browser.
2. Register an account & validate it.
3. Fill out an application to join.
4. If you would like, feel free to post an introduction.
Note: Please be patient with the staff while they review your app.


If you have issues with finding our site, with registering/validation, or with the application process, either contact Lady Spyra on our offsite forums -or- visit our clan chat in game and ask in the clan chat for assistance.

Clan Member Guidelines



We have no activity requirement to remain in Surreal.

Surreal is a casual community, so we do not have a formal activity requirement in place. However, you should be aware that we may choose to do inactivity sweeps every now and then. This is just to keep our clan member count on the relatively more active side. We will not remove those who notify us of absences though, so we strongly encourage you to notify us of any extended absences on our offsite forum in the Absence Forum or on our Discord server in the #members-only channel; you do not have to disclose any details of your absence that you don't wish to.

Communicate and participate!

We want you to WANT to be involved! Being social and participating in a clan makes it all the more fun for everyone! We have weekly events and competitions, we have offsite forums, AND we have a Discord server, all for you to make use of and enjoy.

Make your voice heard!

Have a cool idea? Is there something you'd like to see in the clan? Have constructive criticism? Share it, share it, share it! When the Staff Team release changes, we rely on our members to tell us what they do and don't like. At Surreal, it's not about the staff, it's about our members.

Show Respect

Show respect to your fellow members at all times. Should a member feel uncomfortable or disrespected in any manner they should contact a member of the Staff Team to assist in solving the issue in a drama-free manner.

Show Manners

We're not here to police you on swearing, however do not be excessive in using such language. Keep things civil and appropriate to avoid drama and conflict.

No Conflict

Conflict is not cool. Do not bring it here, and do not drag it out should an issue arise. If you have any issues with another member immediately bring it to the attention of the Staff Team and let them handle it. All conflict will be worked on a case by case basis to determine the best course of action for the clan and individuals involved. Should you have any questions or concerns surrounding a conflict that involves you please do not hesitate to make them known to a member of the Staff Team.

No Botting

We are strictly a No-Botting Clan. Should you be caught cheating you will be banned from the clan immediately.

English Only

To help make everybody feel comfortable and welcome, please use English only when speaking in public Surreal chats. If you'd like to speak in other languages, please do so privately.

- Deputy Owner : Leaders collaborate with staff on ideas and projects, and ensure that the clan stays safe from rule breaking. They take care of recruitment, services, and also guide the staff.

Staff
- Overseer : Staff host weekly events and also focus on community enhancement and recruitment. (Promotion to this rank is possible as deemed necessary via mutual decision).
