Is that a guess red and green? But I just realized about a hour and a half ago. I.E. (6:00PM) that Monday will be already a year that my dad passed away..... Its hard to believe that its already been that long since he was with me and joking with me.
Hence the second half of my signature "gone but not forgotten" I thank all of you for being there for me and especially a few in particular you know who you are and you know what your true value is. Thank you.

I never had a father, I'm glad you both had the time that you had.
But I have lost, & you will mark the day every year, it's just not something that escapes your mind, he is still a part of you, & I understand how keenly you still feel the loss, even though it was a year ago.
& it will still be that way in the years ahead.

We must remember to celebrate the good times that we had.

for those who may not know, (america at least) has a saying for military persons. 'Gone but not forgotten' is one of those. another that i have tattooed on my shoulder is 'For those who gave all'. Fire, you are a great person, and if that is any form of mirror of how your dad brought you up, then he was a great man. And what little you have told me of him, reflects strongly in my life as someone who has been in the honor guard, responsible for the proper burials of those military persons who have gone to fight the good fight on the other side. So i salute him and his life..

as a side note, it is said that a person has 2 deaths. once when they die, and a second when their name is said for the last time. Never let him be forgotten. Speak often of him to your wife and kids and grandkids etc.
