Riddle bump!

Well, I didn't get any messages with the correct answer so I am guessing that the riddle was a tough knut to crack!
I am pleased to tell you the ending to the riddle:
The third man bought a candle and a box of matches, when he lit the candle. The light filled up the entire room.


New riddle for today:

What goes through towns and over the hills, but neither moves?
