Ayers Rock in Australia reaches 1,000 feet above the ground, but the part you can't see is even more impressive: the rock extends about a mile and a half into the ground.

I visited Ayre's Rock in year 10 (I think that's sophmore in USA?) & omg we had so much fun running around up there. It looks like 1 big rock in the pictures but it's all windy & ups & downs & amazing. But now the natives don't want us up there
& it's basically considered insensitive to climb it.
Sounds like it was a lot of fun Cuddles, sorry to hear that it's no longer allowed.
On a positive note Runescape has been found! They had wandered off chasing a floating pancake covered in maple syrup... can't say I wouldn't have done the same... mmmm pancakes... mmmm mapley...
(There was a global DDoS attack on the Dyn DNS [Domain Name Service] company which caused to tons of websites to 'vanish' for a while - they were still there you just couldn't find them unless you knew the direct IP address registered to it).
