Gentlefolk, the scammer who used Bellum Pacis' name to try to "borrow" money is also using a couple of variations on Smokey's. The trick is the same - replacing a letter with another that looks similar. One variation just added a "." at the end. Senior clanmates are just not going to come up to you and mooch; don't loan nobody nuttin'. Traditionally, Cuddle discourages loans on trust in the clan, just to keep drama to a minimum.

Be politely wary, and don't get your feelings hurt if someone is cautious with you.

QueenMage was involved in this, and has been banned (thanks, Skunk, for quick reflexes and knowledgeable button punching).

They'll go away. They always do. Only the clan remains steadfast as a rock.

Thanks for the info Moriel - Lots of feedback in clan leader forums but not a word from Jagex yet...
This is currently happening to a lot of clans & we're awaiting some feedback.

As moriel said, senior members won't be asking for loans.

Please report here & in clan chat any incidents.

I will mention it in clan chat when I'm on, but I'd like people to cover other times also just to make sure everyone is aware, as that is our best defence.

I've departed the clan with intention of doing my own thing, It's not for personal reasons at all I love you guys. I'm just the friend that moved away to [The Big City/The Great Outdoors/The Seven Seas*. I hope you guys continue to have fun, even without me.
