Is the OG RS client banned?

In less then a week I have received a macro moderate and macro major ban on a f2p pking pure that hasn't leveled a single Stat in over 2 years. It sees very minimal play time 1 day every 1-2 months when bored. I use the OG rs client that has been downloaded on my laptop for years at this point and nothing else. Since jagex doesn't respond to appeals because they just stay " appeal pending " should I even bother logging on other accounts or are they going to eat false bans too??

We won't know for sure, but it could be the reason.

As of now, the only clients allowed outside of the official ones are:

RuneLite
HDOS
OSBuddy

With that in mind, it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that the ban might relate to your use of a different client, but I'm sure someone with more knowledge on the subject can chip in.

It can also take up to 10 days to receive a reply from Jagex regarding ban appeals.

By OG RS client I am implying... It was directly downloaded from Runescape many years ago. What I don't know is if it is out of date and flagging for something since there's all these other clients out there and Jagex cracked down on what's acceptable. Going on a week with 0 response though. Appeals system used to be a 24 hour response with it rarely taking 2 days. Customer support is just nonexistent these days.

Can't be anything else if it's not the client. Half tempted to go do the exact same thing and pk but on a account with tons more hours logged in game and see if it gets flagged. Accounts are all 15+ years old at this point.

The obvious question is why on earth you haven't updated your client recently. What 'tools' are you using that require it?

Very inactive and never saw the need for runelite for overlays and timers etc. Can only do so much with pures and the wildy has been dead for quite some time now. have specific built f2p pures to fill the urge to play rs instead of getting p2p and finding myself bank standing after 1 day of playing
