After pointing out the many bots in the game, a mod locked my forum thread due to "accusations" against other players. (isn't that what 'reporting a player' literally is?) It's frustrating; bots are a significant issue, and people are upset and want to express it. But what happens when upset players try to voice their concerns and brainstorm possible solutions? The thread gets locked.
So, if we can't complain about it, can't discuss it on forums, what's an upset player, tired of seeing bots dominate the game in all aspects and all minigames, supposed to do? Wait for another Twitch video telling us what we want to hear? That's how politicians operate. We're told bot bans happen, just told. Estimated total number of bots? No data, no plan—just a 10-minute video on Twitch.
Guys, we all know big gaming studios sometimes let down their fan base. Is the RuneScape franchise suffering, struggling to find a buyer for the requested 1 billion USD? Yes.
It seems like an obvious money grab. As a consumer, buying a product, I'm not happy with the purchase. Why should you be? Stop giving them excuses and start holding them accountable.
