Hey all,
First of all I am in no way a PVM'er closest I get to it is in most quests where I hope DTD's get me through it!
I've got to say, I'm not a young one of the old '03 era runescape players and the whole mechanics of PVM just doesn't interest me and something I (and a few others I know) struggle with. My suggestion like I've seen on so many other quests involving puzzles it simplifies in some way, however, in Extinction quest during the battles final stage it's too much with the eggs, every couple of seconds fire and aspects of seren attacking.
My thoughts would be after say 20 deaths it slows the fire rate or something at least then social/skillers etc will be able to complete the quests too! ¸„»°'´¸„»°'´ Fear Reaper `'°«„¸`'°«„¸

There is a lot going on in that final phase. It's one of the cases where the more you try the harder it is.

You only need to survive for 2 minutes in that final phase. You don't actually have to kill the monsters.

Probably the worst place would be near the middle, I saw a vid on Youtube that recommends the southwest corner because the eggs don't bounce that way very often. I would guess any corner or wall is a good idea, to just reduce the amount of things you need to deal with at any time.

When I did this boss it was probably the most hopeless thing I had seen. How am I supposed to deal with all of that, or even tolerate it?

Then I learned we only needed to survive, and well, that is easy. Bring a shield, tank armor, defense abilities, I barely used any food that time.

Agreed. Had to bring a spirit shield to mitigate the damage flying everywhere for that. Plenty of quests have easier modes like the violet snowball made easier if you fail too much so easier extinction quest is needed.
