Alright, firstly let me tell I understand how saradomin won in the battle of Lumbridge.
A lot of kids playing at that moment and white knights.
True players were not there, mostly.

But in the Age of Chaos, you release saradomin armor and mention something about one god? That's blasphemy.
Serious let down if that's how you reward players that have been playing since release that like the lore and actually read quests (after trapping them into buying premier membership).

I'm out, gave you around 100 € in my last session, out of respect, but I ain't giving you another dime. Or playing this anymore. 0/10

Well you can deduce through my post I am not a big fan of saradomin. And what's wrong. Also, as I've said, it's the Age of Chaos. Is it not enough Zamorak is a mere NPC you can kill? He gives good loot but still, story wise it's a no-no.

Also, the third thing I could rant about presented itself with your post. Unique items and partyhats that cost full stacks. No-no.

But I may have made a mistake by running rs3 when it came out on Steam as I had fate in the original game. Players like me are in OS mostly, and it's much more enjoyable TBF.

Now I was stuck as an "english man in New York" in rs3 metaphorically speaking.

To answer your edit with an edit:
As each (mmorpg) game has it's life cycle, (most of) the original players could not possibly expect that a game will live for that long. Nobody or rarely anyone checks the game they've played in childhood, as it's probably dead.
When it jumped out of Steam for me, a platform which I'm heavily using, I was very much suprised it survived due to the amount of black hat stuff happening there, phishing, scamming and all. Clever phishing was the way I lost my first account, and almost lost this one. But cx support evolved to a point and I was able to secure my account. Despite that I decided to give it another go and play RS. Then I made breaks, eventually coming back, now up to this point when I was expecting to play it for another year. But I decided otherwise after this update.

edit2: The second (rantable) thing is the fact that you get auto opted in for pvp when runecrafting with demonic skull despite the fact that you were not previously, and can lose items. Only fair I mention that too while I'm ranting, which I rarely do.

thats a lot of words with out answering anything i asked, you started talking about osrs and rs3(i play both personally). partyhards, pvp. longevity on mmorpg??? that has nothing to do with what i asked you to clarify lmao

As I said, you can logically deduce from my initial post all those questions. But I can make it simple(r) for you.

I explained what i meant, very lengthy about true players, and I do not wish to repeat myself. I am no longer working as a css in order to need to rephrase my explanations.

Nothing is wrong with the armor, the design itself, but with the deity it represents. Contrary to current timeline and all.

Blasphemy lorewise, as IRL I have to bear with "Saradomninists", as do most of us with certain self proclaimed institutions imposing their beleifs to people since childhood. I play games to experience things I cannot IRL or that I do not have to bear with things I bear IRL. Also, not blasphemy in saradomin, but it's a blasphemy putting saradomin and one god in the same sentence while releasing saradominist armor in the age of chaos, after making zamorak a killable npc.

well it is your job to make yourself clear so people understand, if you dont want to do that. then there is no discussion to be had. no skin off my nose. but it does effect what you are wanting and thats what you are ranting about. surely you want to get your point across to as many people as possible.

so a "true player" is someone that been here for a long time? thats what i took from what you said but wasnt overly clear.

im just trying to understand what you are saying. saying you wont explain. is only effecting your thread

well these are fictional characters in a game, not related to real life so.... so what?

so why in title is it about saradomin armour? thats not very clear, comes under what i just said about, you want your rant to be as clear as possible.

whats wrong with it saying one god? lorewise thats what they believe. there is only one god to worship. it doesnt mean there is only 1 god entirely. but 1 worthy god. the other "gods" are not worth the worship therefor not gods in their eyes. so "one god" is correct for that.

Well, if "just a game" depends on your companys success, it's best for you to be perfect, lorewise or otherwise.

There are people that respect books, then there are others that say they are "just books". Then there are writers, who sell those books. Just an analogy there if you can understand that.

The rant is not directed towards you, or the community. It's directed towards Jagex directly as a constructive criticism.

But I can agree with you on two things, it's best for the rant to be as clear as possible, and one god thingy you may be right about.

edit: Oh and the title was supposed to be "saradominist armor in the age of chaos?" yet due to limitations of titles, I had to shorten it.

I'm sure they lurk, judging by their news posts, they do lurk and read feedback if nothing. But as can be seen if not limited by gdpr and whatnot, I'm not much of a forum commenter or user.
