I finally got it. I finally hit the lottery three times in a row. 629 kills, and the vestige was mine.
I ported.
Let me set the scene.
I'm in voice chat with a friend, talking unrelated tosh as we're doing our own thing. The image happens, and I pop off. I screenshot it, post it on discord to my group iron chat while I explain to my friend just how rare this drop is and the unique drop mechanic behind it. After I'm finished posting, I just port to bank and start prepping for a new grind.
I never picked it up.
I ran back already knowing the area is in an instance and that I'm absolutely boned, but I need to try at least. Nothing, just as its coded.
Always pick up your drops.
