ya sadly some guy got me in discord for a couple daze and we would kill bosses n stuff. and one day he tells me to help him with something... bye bye 8b ,so long story sort, never trust people specialy if they are trying to help u anti lure or do anything that sounds sketch. just be mindful.(if it sounds too good to be true. it usually is) i made the mistake of basically being coached into a lure. ( now looking back) and havent gotten any drops since then. 4 weeks ago now. bye bye t bow/bank. im sure the trolls will post under here but im not worried about negative comments i just wanna let people that dont know , never listen to people u dont personally know. dont right click purple names in chat to trade/back in scarry areas. keep yourself safe first at all times. bad people always lurking and trying to screw you over. much love and safe adventuring<33 the pj timer, where u can be attacked by numerous players in a pvp scenario in the r*v caves sounds terrible, i would love to see just the single way combat period, so people like myself( and everyone i know) can for the first time actually enjoy this content known as the r*v caves.

Report whoever it was and hopefully they'll lose the 8b they stole. You probably wont get it back, but at least there's a chance they wont have it either, and maybe they'll even lose their account on top. Main thing is, don't let it deter you from playing the game, stats are what matter, nobody can hack those away from you. And ty for the warning / reminder! Move on and try to stay positive. Scumbags like that eventually get what's coming to them (or have already! and is why they are the way they are). Best to not even acknowledge them, lol. Just be glad that they're the minority and that there are plenty of decent folk out there. Still, don't give anyone (even friends/family) things that you're not willing to lose. Don't give people the opportunity to disappoint you, lol. We don't 'need' to trust anybody on RS so don't do it. Bob says:
A bank PIN will keep your items secure.
Always check the second trade screen.
Never trade in the Wilderness!
Keep your computer keylogger-free and virus scanned.
Never give your password out to anyone.

^they don't ban lurers....i have met people who scammed PvM clan splits of ely's/Divines and other high value items, including some who admitted to me in chat they made money off 'luring friends'.

^added to ignore after reporting, and they still are not banned. he even went on and on how i should help him since 'i didn't fall for his tricks'....i follow one rule and it has saved me many times;

Never, Ever go to wildy without anything you can do without...."Bro, with that gear we should do some KBD" "Okay -clicks and switches my gear to black d hide, changes bow etc-" "wooh why did you bank your good gear?" "This is what i wear to KBD"

^the convo goes on and on how i should wear my other gear.....-un-friended-

FYI when dealing with online player "trust is never gained, only raised to be broken", borrow 20m , 40m, 60m , 120m, ......500m(taken) "but i lent him so much money over the years and he took 500m....

To this vary day, only thing i lost in a scam is appox 10 abyssal whips in total (2-5mill each), i used to kill abyssal demons with dhoraks and camp for dragon boots, was honestly nothing to me. could have helped that player get rich but they "settled for a whip"....<--that whip with my money making secrets could have made them over 50million easy, most after that give me the whip back, some i let keep it.

Personally, I don't see anything positive in allowing players to lose or gain that much, in any way. It's like you have an entire game (2 games) that is balanced in a certain way then you have this crazy idea that players can compete for everything they have? Ludicrous.

Years ago I was part of a clan I was in the wildy killing lava strykes; Was using my nox which was a bit more valueable then. Long story short; Dident lose the scythe. But was getting stalked world to world and diden't know how until I realized it was (possibly) more then one person trying to pick me off in the clan I was in. Mind they also knew I would kill lava strykes just never really reveled I used my scythe. But they figured out! Thankfully never got caught up.

Still have lost items in the wilderness but never like that; more my own neglect. So you gotta be careful with the wilderness (still) and players; you can still get tricked into opting into PvP; forget that; then teleport out there and a "clanmate(s)" seize the opportunity. And your done. You lose everything; they laugh their asses off stacked with easy loot.

So good reminder not to sleep on the wilderness and players.
