Man even after getting Best in slot gear and weapons and abilities I was still struggling severely due to whack mechanics that are obviously way too OP which was the reason behind the creation of Animate Undead. What's the point of grinding for years just to struggle lmao I can't believe I didn't see how bad this game was before, I'm literally having way more fun on Free to play games because you can actually unlock everything for FREE, there are MTX but it's reasonably priced unlike RS3, I've been playing a whole lot of single player games that have a one time price tag which are leagues above this game.

Jagex needs to do better when it comes to intriguing players, nerfing everything that's fun or fair isn't it, having your maxed players struggling to the point where 90% of them don't even boss, isn't it, having hundreds of new items enter the game through events or new releases while not having enough space to hold them isn't it either, charging people 7 bonds or roughly $100 to get extra spaces isn't it either, having people grind and grind and grind to the point of mental breakdowns while supporting mental health awareness isn't it either.

I could go on and on and on with problems this game has, but the biggest problem is that the Devs don't care about their players, and if the Devs don't care about their players then I don't care much to give them any more of my money, you treat us like utter garbage, you even ask for our opinion then ignore because you think you know what's best, well then keep your garbage grind, keep your price gouging MTX, keep it all, it's yours, we all get the argument that businesses need to make money but you don't have to sacrifice player relations in order to achieve that, dumbest business model to ever be created.

you said you were quitting over a month ago now. instead you keep making rants on the game saying you dont like it.

it is fine to quit the game if you so choose, you have every right to do so.

if you find the game boring now, then its not for you anymore.

If you find the game this unfun, then by all means stop playing it. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

My two-cents though:

I started in 04, soft quit in 2011 (played maybe a few hours a month if even that) and hard quit in 2015 (didn't play at all). I returned April of last year. I don't know what other (online) games you have played - but I can't agree with your statement that the devs don't care about the players. They are listening to us more in recent years than ever before. So many QoL updates come from the forums, twitter, reddit, and Jmods talking to their player friends on their regular accounts and even their mod accounts. Back in the day I NEVER saw jagex care about the players nearly as much as they do now.

RuneScape also isn't like other MMORPGs where bossing / raiding is the focus. Plenty of people have played the game for years / decades and still play / enjoy it without ever having done a current boss. I only play on legacy mode so I can't even fight some bosses with BIS gear, but I still have fun playing. Quests, barrows, slayer, clue scrolling, etc. I know plenty of people who only do skilling. If bossing is all you care about then perhaps RS isn't the right game for you.

The bank part is funny. I was doing great and then all of a sudden my space went POOF. I was contemplating the bank space for bonds deal, but surely that will be on sale at some point. One thing I have is patience.

It's also a great point of being able to just PLAY a game. At this point their entire focus should be on fun activities. Looking at the game jam preview, I don't think we are on the same page.

I'm also a bit worried about the new skill. If they are relying on the coolness of undead, that is uninteresting. I am reminded of their attempt at Transformers. How are you going to spend years working on something that is a fad? It comes and goes, because there is not much meat on the bone. Literally.

This might sound harsh, but I was actually surprised to learn in the Necromancy video that Devs put any value in feedback. TBH the company is not doing a good job of encouraging it. Just look at the forum as an example. There is a lot of activity with the sole purpose of discouraging others from posting.

I can assume that is a matter of policy, which is the opposite of what should be expected. This same exact thing applies on Reddit, but it seems to depend on whether you used a lot of words vs posting a meme. The actual complaints don't matter.

Like it or not, the game you are playing was built on complaints and player analysis of the game. That doesn't grow on trees and if you don't understand the value of it, you are free to counter it with your own unique feedback. When I look around, there has been a failure over the last several years. On all sides.

We shouldn't be in THIS position. Part of the analysis is understanding how players view the game. The bottom of their pyramid, ground level. Like they want us to play with satellite view where our character is 3 pixels tall, but the other half of their focus is cosmetics.

I think most players are somewhere in the middle, and they are the ones who get left out.
