Just failed to get a reward for the event because I couldn't deal enough damage with 110 necromancy and t90 equipment.

The f*cking combat portion of the event lasted like 10 seconds...? How the hell am I supposed to meet the damage requirements when all these kids are facerolling their keyboard. I thought these events weren't supposed to be competitive.

Really pissed off about this waste of my time.

poorly designed junk.

Edit: I'm like completed 320+ wilderness flash events, the one I'm describing is abnormally short.

Never had an issue getting the damage needed.

Revo with magic always enough to do 3x damage needed

But maybe its your ability bar isnt most optimal. Necro should be more dps than any other cb style so id assume thats where the issue is.


Dont blame the game when its not the game issue. Always so aggressive

When I show up to an event I expect it to last longer than 10 seconds.
Just because YOU never had issues with it doesn't mean you're the arbiter of this games balance.

I've been programming games for like 8 years by the way, and I'm a consultant / tester for a company that produces graphically assisted game engines.

I know bad design when I see it.
Runescape 3 does not meet many industry standards for quality, both creatively or technically.

unfortunately I don't live in the same country, so I cannot apply for a job at jagex. needs more competent designers

If im just usinf revo and doing no inputs it should be the same for everyone

Im not special in anyway shape or form, so if it works for me it should for everyone else, as i repeat i do 0 input apart from clicking the monster.


So instead of blaming the game asap. Understand what maybe the issue then you can get somewhere and your problem will be fixed.

So again. Its probablt your ability bar isnt optimal.

Can you send an image of your ability bar? We can go over it to make it more optimal :) . Which wont just help with these events, but also every combat encounter

I'm not using magic, I'm using necromancy with t90 equipment and lvl110

I'm also using revolution, and I'm a wiki nerd so I doubt my bar is far from what is considered to be the most optimal.

The issue is that the event lasted 10 seconds. it was over quicker than it aught to be. Even if I somehow succeeded and reached the damage threshold, this is still worth complaining about.

Even if you manage to win, the event should not be only 10 seconds long, when it was designed around being 5 minutes.

I'm not sending any screenshots or images, I dont feel comfortable doing so. please respect my decision.

Also the motto for this forum is "focus on the problem not the solution"
I'm using it correctly.

Experienced the same thing, certain events are completed that fast and I can't always deal enough dps to reach the personal progress. It's annoying failing because of this

If it truely did only last 10 seconds it sounds like a bug and so report it ingame bia bug report button

As no one can do enough dps in 10 seconds.

Ive not encountered this personally. Ive done many events. So definitely sounds like a bug again if it really was only 10 seconds
