Remember that time EoC was implemented and people complained as if their world was ending? It worked out fine. As in life itself something old was shed to leave room to the new. And even have the two game branches so players can choose which adjusts better to their taste
Agreed, they need a backbone. The squeaky wheel always get the grease / the wonky nails get hammered in, etc. The whiny minority obnoxiously shout over the quiet majority. Lol.
It was like that with EOC and it repeated itself with this. I didn't like EOC at first, but trust your employees that are deciding these things, they might be right. They were right about EOC.
And whilst their quick response to public outcry was good, I feel they acted out of desperation. "Never go shopping when hungry" comes to mind. Big changes take time. I think they're desperately holding onto any and all players, they haven't thought "I want
this
kind of player, therefore I'll attract them with
this
" or vice-versa, to not attract certain types. They're going with quantity over quality. And yes, I'm saying that some players are whiny d***heads, because some are! Act like a business - to make an omlette you have to break some eggs. You can't please all. At some point you have to say / accept "That's fine, not my customer". IMO.
