i myself have a huge problem with the requirements to upgrade gear. yeah its grindscape. woop de do. id like an answer as to why upgrading requires bossing. for t80 i have to solo gdws1 just to upgrade. then for t90 i need to kill nex. that not including getting power armour. it really looks like they just threw this skill together to make the game more relevant without actually taking a step back and realizing how stupid the upgrade system is. ill do t80 and thats the last upgrade im doing.these reqs make no sense.

the bossing for tier 70 up is seriously dumb. i have bad internet so most bossing is out of the question for me cause i will just lag and end up dead as a result. if i can use the death touch dart for some of them then great but the ones i cant that will 1shot me im pretty screwed. my only hope will be if the 95 gear isnt locked behind these lame tasks then i might be able to just buy the gear once the prices for them crash (which might be awhile cause most people will probably try and skip tier 70-90 if this is the case.) no other skill has such high reqs to just make gear for just sayin

Turns out making the gear is easy and fun.

Compared to grinding out 30,000 souls in the torture chamber. It's required to finish the quest line and fight the necro-dancer.

The whole thing is one giant squeeze. But the combat is lots of fun. If they ever let me do it.

I think you can buy it in the GE, I examined my own and it's (11k,the piece price varies..) but the GE has a higher price. I didn't try buying one.

You can get the upgrade in a day, yea it is grindy that's how it is.. if the wiki thing i read is right you have to have made it yourself once before you can wear it. so buying is literally worthless unless youre getting spare/replacement pieces.
