Good morning,

Last night after logging in and entering the Revenant cave, I had a massive lag spike, and when I attacked a player standing inside the doorway for some reason, I gained Defense XP... I was using a leaf-bladed battle axe.

No idea why this happened, but I NEED help!

My account is a maxed Pure, and I have been playing on it for YEARS. Not to mention my clean account history and positive game aspects. The amount of money I have put into this account and have also spent on OSRS bonds.....

Please, help me reset my defense back to 1...

I even changed my name last night because I was so upset.

I have read the rules, and I believe this was a glitch, so please, mods, :( help me.

Stat resets are currently unavailable for OSRS.

There's not a lot we can do about it here, and JMods don't really visit the rants section. If you think you have found a bug, you need to use the in-game feature to report it. IF it is a bug, they will be able to action it, and you might just get lucky with some help. Be sure to just report what you suspect is the bug though: additional unnecessary info will just slow things down.

Did you perhaps have another weapon equipped prior to the axe? If for example the weapon you had equipped prior to that only had 3 attack choices and you were on the last choice. Swapping to an item with 4 choices might have landed you on gain HP & Def for your attack style.

I think they'll help you out with a rollback if this was an obvious mistake and has only happened once on your account. Pretty sure I read it somewhere on the support page.
