Ugh can we not? Seriously the last what 6 (ever since dung) have been a miserable experience. The last few especially due to the ungodly slow xp rates. I dont want to hear any of this "oh 20k/hour is fine xp rates" no shut ur mouth not everyone wastes 20h+ a day playing a dead mmo and buying gold and xp. Some of us have lives. At the very least make this new skill have DECENT xp rates that way i can get it within a fair amount of time and it wont become a chore on my list of things to do.
PS: No 120 either. Again not everyone wastes 20h+ a day playing. This small sliver of your player base that's left does sure, but everyone else thinks "hmm maybe ill try this new skill.. oh wait it goes to 120... i have a job, and a wife, and kids, and pets, and other hobbies besides this dead mmo that already takes up too much time. Nope gonna play something else."

Nobody is forcing you to train the new skill, if you don't enjoy it, don't train it. There is no requirement to play 20h a day to max any skill. Play with whatever time you're comfortable with.
Skills that go to 120 usually have a steep exp curve, with rates getting much better at higher levels, even if they are around 20k/h at the start.
You're not even a member, how would you know whether a skill is 'miserable' or not?
Archaeology, for example, was widely praised by the community, and is generally regarded as having been a great success.
Nobody cares that you don't want the game to continue expanding, or that you only want skills that are quick and easy to train (which you then undoubtedly criticise for being 'too simple' and 'not thought through').
Take your miserable whining elsewhere.

Whats this a fanboy who dosnt lookup stats to immediately talk smack? I must screenshot this historic moment.
To my knowledge arch was universally hated as it added nothing of quality to the game but another long slow skill to grind that was basically just a quest.
Example:
Want to train at the level 80 sky area or w/e tough shit, go do every other goddamn thing associated with that sky area and THEN you can train at the level 80 area for 75k an hour. Woo so fun. We had one big minigame in dung, now we have 1 big quest in arch.

Why would I waste time looking up stats? You think I'm even remotely interested in you?
Doesn't change the fact that you're not a member, and if you ain't paying, your views aren't worth jack to the company, or to me.

Time to leave whatever toxic social bubble or cesspit you've been inhabiting then; as others in this thread have noted, the overall reception for archaeology was extremely positive, and it's not particularly slow.

p.s the other skills are beaut, arch is an easy 200m with all the thought gone into it.
invention is beaut for the perks that benifit all the other skills
