I'm in a Hardcore Group Ironman. We have 3 members. We were wanting to invite our friend to play along with us. Looks like we lose our Hardcore status by inviting him to our group even if he's on a fresh account on tutorial island? What's the logic in this? We want our friend to be a part of our group, but think a lot of the fun is seeing how far we can all progress without dying. I think you should be able to invite fresh accounts to your hardcore ironman group without it costing you your hardcore status.

Yes as long as the account is fresh and still on tutorial island I see no problem with this.
