I'm not sure which way it is, since it's been a bit, but either when you log out or in the growth cycle it is currently on gets reset. The only patch that isn't effected by this is the fruit tree patch near the Gnome Agility course.
UPDATE 2: They finally grew, but it took so much longer than it was supposed to.
technically not much longer than they were suppose to
I don't think it's reasonable to expect every patch to simultaneously get diseased every single tick.
It's not supposed to get diseased at all because of my relic power. the one at the monolith, pharm ecology. go read it.
i even said about the relic in my post.... i would say "go read it" but thats just rude
even with the relic or the a farmer looking after a patch, the plant / tree etc can still get diseased it will just be restored to health asap. but because of the relic / farmer looking after patch, it will be cured. that is what they do. they cure it when it gets diseased. and when the plant gets diseased it misses that growth cycle
i gave you the answer as to why it took longer than 80 mins. and you come back with rudeness because you didnt like the answer lmao
dont shoot the messenger. im just giving you what the game mechanics are for farming, jesus i thought you wanted to know the answer...
EDIT
here go read this https://runescape.wiki/w/Farming#Growth_cycles
again dont shoot messenger, just because you dislike how something works and they explain it to you trying to help....
"oh thats interesting thank you" lolol

So if you logged in and logged out, or hopped world every 15 minutes.
Theoretically your plants would NEVER grow?
Jagex should consider changing that because it's really really stupid mechanics.
If you use the Forums to Rant then you can expect others to try and help you out and point you in the right direction as in this case.
If you seek general information about why plants are not growing in the alloted time then this section is not for you. You would be far better off using General Chat as this issue has been discussed many many times in the last decade.
I've removed a post as you are again insulting someone for trying to help. They have given you good advice and none of it is wrong. So if you don't want help or advice then you will struggle here to work out whats going on.
Please remember the Rules of Rants. Flaming is not needed here or anywhere within the Forums.

1 post removed.
I didn't ask for advice, it was unwanted.
I was RANTING hence the name of this forum. about the time.
I know how long the plants grow, I'm not illiterate, I'm a wiki contributor.
It doesn't matter it's all a troll anyway. You guys don't take it seriously because the rules are so strict on this forum it absolutely stifles any ability to communicate or relay information.
People can be disruptive without technically breaking rules.
