Lately I've noticed two grammar mistakes that are simply unforgivable for an originally British game developer.

- examine text of Holy mints: it says "it's centre" when it clearly should be its
- dialogue with ??? (Oak) in the Fort F. He says "it's own supply" when it clearly should be its

Both times I've put in a grammar bug report (as allowed) but we are 1 week later (and there has been at least one update) and the grammar mistake is still there.

Standards, Jagex.

all you can do is send a bug report.

ranting over it when its only been a week is a bit much when its just a grammar mistake.

priorities this really isnt that bad.

I disagree. Grammar matters. Have a nice day ;) <3 <3

i didnt say it doesnt matter. im saying its only been 1 week.

they only fix bugs once per week. so even if you did send this on monday last week. imagine all the bug reports they had to go through (ignoring all the ones in previous weeks) sifting out the ones that actually arent bugs (such as people sending a bug report because they went over drop rates). also the ones that are bugs. then replicating them then fixing then getting them checked, then getting them into the next update.

1 week is way too early to be annoyed. be happy not worry about the little things that really dont matter in the grand scheme of things.

I agree that the standard of (British) English in the game is often sub-par. It looks like no proofreaders are employed before text goes live - very unprofessional.

Grammar and typos aren't really high on Jagex's to-do list. I mean, just look at this typo that has been in the game since September 2020 (and yes, I did report it back then).
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

To me, the worst is when they don't check for singular/plural when they autogenerate text. Things like "1 coins", "1 pieces of ...", "1 points" etc. Make an effort to test if the count is 1 and then write the appropriate singular word. It is not that hard.

Yesterday's (6/11) homepage post is another example of them not paying much attention to proofreading. Another it's when it should be its ("Reduced the number of times Luminescent Icefiend uses it's special attack.&quot ;) and "Forinthy"/Forinthry.

Just use ChatGPT already, Jagex.

Typos and not playtesting content before release is their thing! (sometimes)
