people want an end to a story. this is either that or on the pathway to that
its not always about rewards.
the community spoke anyway about not wanting the prayers. so its them you have beef with.
jagex did propose many prayer options. community didnt like
It has nothing to do with an end to a story. There's already a better version of the game with proper quest lines for people who care about that, where there is also already successors to DT1. DT2 is just a snazzy title to get more people back logging into whatever OSRS is trying to be.
I don't plan on doing DT2 any time soon if ever on OSRS and don't know what the rewards are. I did DT1 primarily for the teleports as I like being able to get to Edgeville without a Glory (btw
). If DT2 has no worthwhile rewards, I'd put it on backlog just to do it as a quest years down the road when/if I care to, but that's surely not what Jagex wants.
I voted against the prayers because I'm tired of seeing what's supposed to be an old version of RS turn
further
into something unrecognizable. People want new stuff so badly but don't want to entertain the better version of RS with the new stuff because memes and Reddit.
Didn't Jagex just toss the prayers onto a shelf rather than into the trash bin so that they could work on improving them at another time?
If so, then who's to say that when that time comes and the prayers are good enough to be released, that Jagex'll just add it as an additional reward to the quest (meaning players who have already done it will gain instant access to them)?
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
