It's been over a week since I hit 87 slayer on this account (Ironman). Over 2500 slayer points and 70 turael skips I still have not received a kraken task.

Surely this cannot be what you intended Jagex.

I have game content locked behind RNG. That should be reserved for items.

I'm ready to quit this game.

Griding to 87 slayer took long enough. Grinding for days and days just to receive a task is insane. Allow players to kill the cave krakens without a task. Maybe just reserve that for the boss.

Or allow us to pay 1000 points for the task or something, anything.

This has ruined my experience playing RuneScape.

I can sympathize with your pain. On my OSRS file, I got 85 Slayer and drained all of my points in hopes of getting an abby demon task - no luck. I've since done more tasks, earned more points, drained more points. Still haven't gotten the task yet. :(
