in the last couple of years I noticed how older content is ruined to create an interesting drop table for the new stuff.. tanking the prices of activities because it floods the market.
-runes dropped in price making rune crafting even more tedious as it doesn't bring value
-seed dropped in value making bird houses and master farmers useless
-fishing is not profitable but time consuming- because of food drops
-mining/smithing is time consuming and not profitable
-gathering skills in general have become tedious, where as they should be profitable
these types of releases funnel all players into a few activities, instead of broadening the playablity of all content.
players want either good xp or decent money making.
I keep finding activities/bosses I have to do for some stupid achievement that used to be a profitable endeavor and isn't anymore because of these terrible drop tables that only look good for the first 3 days until everything tanks... and the mods say oops.
