So the tipoff email seems to do absolutely nothing like at all, even sending thousands of emails a day, reporting players isn't working either I report thousands of players per day. Not a single player has been punished one was for 13 days witch I do not count. Who do I speak to about this it's honestly so pathetic that a game that's "strict" on things like this are just openly allowing these problems. I would like a genuine answer. I absolutely hate the RuneScape community but a hypocritical move should be called out

As you have offered negative feedback about Customer/Player Support, your thread has moved to this forum, CameronBrady.

The ICU team does review reports about players breaking the rules. However, it may take time between report and action, as thorough investigations are made into the accounts. I would recommend it is a far better use of your time to play RS/OSRS, rather than seeking out players to report.

Banning an account means breaking the contract between Jagex and the account owner.

In order to do that without being sued, Jagex must first have absolutely watertight evidence against that account. A player report is not enough; Jagex must then investigate the account in detail to find the evidence needed. This takes time .

Only when Jagex know they can justifying breaking the contract in a court of law will the ban be made.

Obviously, a banned account can also be replaced by a new one almost immediately. As a result, Jagex attempts to trace the real owners of bot networks so that they can be taken to court and their activities stopped permanently. This too takes time.

Don't abuse that service or none of us will get our emails read. They'll have them on a watch list in order to make bulk bans. Botters usually have more than one account after all. Bob says:
A bank PIN will keep your items secure.
Always check the second trade screen.
Never trade in the Wilderness!
Keep your computer keylogger-free and virus scanned.
Never give your password out to anyone.

That's... Not how a EULA works.

From the Runescape terms and conditions:

"In our sole discretion, we may at any time: (i) Stop (as defined above) any or all of your Accounts for Jagex Products; (ii) restrict access to any content-uploading or other feature of the Jagex Product or related services; and/or (iii) restrict access to or delete Virtual Currency or anything acquired by means of Virtual Currency. These actions may result in loss of real money paid in prohibited transactions, such as Account trading. If we take any of the above action, you may have a right of appeal. Details can be found here.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ONGOING SUPPLY OF ANY JAGEX PRODUCT OR THAT THE JAGEX PRODUCT AND ANY RELATED SERVICES AND CONTENT WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES, IN ALL LOCATIONS, OR AT ANY GIVEN TIME OR THAT WE WILL CONTINUE TO OFFER SUCH JAGEX PRODUCTS, RELATED SERVICES AND CONTENT FOR A PARTICULAR LENGTH OF TIME. UPON REASONABLE NOTICE TO YOU (AND WITHOUT REASON), JAGEX MAY STOP ANY ACCOUNT AND YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANY REFUND FOR ANY AMOUNTS PAID IN CONNECTION WITH THE ACCOUNT."

You do not own your account, it is licensed to you, and Jagex has the authority to revoke that license at any time for any reason.

Jagex's own terms and conditions confer themselves the power to revoke your account by the standard of they "believe you might do something or have done something."

No person on earth has a chance in hell of disproving a belief in a court of law, not to mention:

"THE JAGEX PRODUCTS AND ANY ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE ARE LICENSED TO YOU, NOT SOLD. YOUR LICENSE CONFERS NO TITLE OR OWNERSHIP TO THE JAGEX PRODUCTS OR SOFTWARE."

You don't own it. Nothing was taken from you. You have no case.

The terms tell you that you own nothing, and they tell you that your access can be revoked (without reason) at any time.

This is why so many people hate that modern games are going digital and still prefer the hard disc versions. It works the exact same way. That digital copy of Halo Infinite you bought isn't yours. You simply have a license that can be revoked for any reason at any time and you have no case against it.

.

jagex can ban any account with no reason if they want to, they own all accounts and do whatever they want with them.

so technically they can ban my account if they wanted to. and the reason can be "we wanted to" that would be valid reason.

however to the op

if you are spending your time just finding bots and reporting them. that does not sound fun at all. just play the game.
bots dont get banned asap. there will be an investigation before any account is banned. if you truely are reporting thousands the chances are you are also reporting many legit players, there is no sure way your findings can be 100% accurate. far from it.

jagex ban bots in bulk not when they get found out to be bots. this is to stop botting getting worse in future as doing it when they get found out would mean giving information to bot creators.

so relax a wee bit more and just enjoy the game. reporting bots help sure, but to the extent you are doing by the sounds of it if you arent exaggerating. is just an inconvenience to yourself.
you are trying to stop an ant infestation by killing each individual ant in your kitchen, whereas jagex are finding the nest and are about to pour hot water down it. but to find the nest and do this takes a lot of time and money

It's more that jaqex is openly allowing mass amounts of accounts rule break and he's it does ruin the game for other players. I couldnt care less for this game honestly, but having more time then normal people as well as money I'm able to f around quite a bit I just want jaqex to actually do something because I know one account "smok3" has showed me in a trade 2.3 trillion in platinum tokens and items he rwt all of it. He plays everyday still it's just incredibly irritating
