Now that's progress! For the record, the intended outcome is to avoid negative situations in the future. The link to completionist is clear, it is an old argument. Content is made bad for completionist players then nerfed for everyone else.
Could just find something extra for completionists to do, but then you need to put that on the travelling merchant shop.
It seems to be a fact that there are an unusually large number of players who are available to play at somewhat 'extreme' levels. Instead of baiting them with new releases under this system, couldn't they find something those players LIKE to do? Something that offers glory without dragging everyone else into the mix.
I could provide a checklist, but then they would specifically not do it. So the best way is to guide them towards the correct answer.
