It's a troll's dream. More people to enjoy my hilarious shenanigans? Sign me up! I am so lacking of others to share in my entertaining ways. They really need me to be physically present on their screen. Someone even compared it to a reality show!

Wow, is that you shopping at the GE in my world? I had no idea!

I understand that asking them to fix something is the worst idea of all time. Literally, the 3 person dance is proof of that.

But with clues they owe it to humanity. They stood side by side with the 3rd party cheats and punished the rest of us.

WHAT?!?!?

Does Mr. Big X know about that?

A better use of this feature might be a minigame lobby. People could tag their interest in a game so others would know they are looking for players. Eventually you might get enough to actually start a minigame. NO dancing here, even with 2 people. It's a serious place full of serious people.

Runescape could hang out there and learn teach people how to play.

I did not like the thought of cross world when the concept was introduced, but I like your idea of how it could be used in a worthwhile effort. It would be nice to see minigames such as FoG revived. Perhaps this would do the trick. I would support this limited use of cross world.

In general, though, this is something I'd rather not see in-game, least of all at the G.E. I have never gone there to buy or sell items, had a look around, and thought "There needs to be a lot more spambots, lurers, e-daters, dancing couples, and other assorted weirdos here so I don't feel so alone while I conduct my business." :P

^yeah they did, OSbuddy was P2W and designed by an Ex- bot script company for this game and jagex allowed them to create a client......Then RuneLite came out to provide what OSbuddy did for free. DW jagex did 'try' to stop it, greed talks. But RuneLite held ground and won. "allow that, you have to allow us", Jagex has lost a lot of creditability in these matters TBH.

Idk, allowing us to use Alt 1 saves us time so that is better for humanity. Plus clue scroll reward markets are solid so if anything, more need to do clues. Slow us down further all this rises even further. Then players will be begging for alt1 users to return to clues. (not worth my time with 156 steps....)

^with alt 1 that is.......10seconds which is not counting time getting the clues, average of 4-12mill an hour depending on type and rewards. Elites are the slowest. That's also with a full inventory of teleports that took nearly all quests complete to gain, to get to all places on map fast.

1 barrows, 2 shadow dyes in 1500 clues or so, i'm still making way less than a PvMer. I know some who have done 3k clues and seen zero dyes. People need to stop protesting Alt 1. Only tt item hoarders would benefit from its removal.

---

BUT.....I do protest the OSRS clients, some things on those just aren't an overlay.....showing me highlights i can't even render in view yet.....OR hiding all players from my viewing. 100% an overlay.

----

If jagex adds Cross World BS, I might want the above in RS3...I would rather be the only one in my viewing, only one left in the world.... ;)

Dang skilling places are going to be so laggy like banks etc. All banks will be like W84 portable places.

Jagex never thinks ahead...they only break stuff and fixing that = breaking something else in the process. Endless Job - Create more work. :D

I support this. Only people who may object are clans doing tie games. I used to do those in Soul wars with my clan, back when Zeals were decent XP.

^this + changing rewards could fix minigames. Issue #1, It's not worth the time.

---
"Hey, lets play a minigame"

"does it gain XP?"

"Well 2007ish amount of XP"

"so 700k+ combat XP per hour?"

"ermm....umm...39k-55k XP per hour"

" O_o "

This is why you update stuff....as the game updates.... :| Also known as Dead Content creation, jagex is very good at it.

The devs have no problem with their concept of making every new update the best xp, etc. in the game. That makes it immediately successful, if not long term.

They say it's not their job to keep the old content alive.

They also say making the combat playable is not their job.

Minigames, anything. Nope. Not them.

Well, I got news for them! They HOST THIS GAME. The game runs on their servers. That is a big part of their job. They are BAD HOSTS.

They let people fly winged varmints the size of skyscrapers. They let people walk around like they have ingested either too much or too little of any random substance. Wings, trails, fireballs.

All vitally important, but they also make any boss monster 1,000 feet tall so we have to zoom from outer space to even see them. In this state our dude is like 3 pixels. They could make me into a red square and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

They let people spam meteors, icicles and tidal waves at an alarming rate. IDK what that stuff even is. Sunshine instead.

They let people sell access to minigames, on a level where you need to make an appointment on a website. They let combat players do whatever they want, and celebrate it. They let an entire version of their game get taken over by a 3rd party client, and then complained when the client made better graphics than they could.

They misplace a lot of the new sound, making the game feel empty and unfinished. Those sounds are in in area effects, which is just way too annoying for any human to bear. They continue adding graphics that nobody likes, because 12 people in their fan club LOVE IT.

That's some bad hosting.

I didn't even get to communication, performance of the servers with actual people on them, the way the game functions in a crowd, or the overlapping schedule of events followed by empty periods. TH. There is not enough room on the internet to talk about all of it.

All of that happens before you even get to play the game.

There is nothing wrong with cross world chatting. I'm not sure why it was even mentioned. At the time the poster was editing several theories of disagreement and settled on that one, even though it really doesn't apply to my arguments. Therefore it must be a topic for the 'other side.'

If anyone wants to talk about it I have no problem. I wouldn't consider it derailing or anything. I know that is a big concern on the forum.

I fail to see any issue here myself either.

I mean ppl can already talk x-world within fcs/ccs as is, so how is this any different?

The Talk whilst being in different worlds serves a better purpose than what cross world offers. Don't see the point.
