Too many instances where rewards from random events are totally useless. For example: captain rerolls when my captains are already fulled upgraded, bonuses such as ration packs when we are already at the cap. I mean I have 6 ration packs, 0 kegs, 0 seasinger bottles. Yet a random event just has to reward another ration pack. And if we can only use three of each at a time, why put a cap on it?
