I think they were calling this a 2 year storyline. Here's how I would treat that:
Remove any access we have to Moia and Reva. Maybe a new office in Falador where we can see her but not approach. If we ask to see her she waves or whatever and an assistant tells us she is too busy but at the next possible moment she will send for you. If you have an emergency please hang up and dial 4321.
That assistant, and Moia's similar assistant will be the new characters who deliver information. The reason for that is you can have some fun with it. Not all of the information would be delivered as intended, based on the ability of those assistants to even understand the topic.
So now you have a statement that can be read by anyone, and be posted to youtube for information and entertainment. They could have the assistant characters appear in the vids or just anyone reading it.
The general idea is that Reva delivers any good news, and Moia delivers any bad news, or makes good news sound bad. In the mixup the actual reasons might never be clear because those characters are unreachable.
I could see the assistant characters sitting side by trying to deliver their news, with the other trying to make it look better or worse. Set it for like 4 episodes and see if anything catches.
Death and taxes could make for an amazing topic to start off. The production should be amateurish and feel as if they are all being forced to make the show, because they are. Like a running gag could be Moia's rep walking out and immediately being pushed back into place.
The white knight could suffer from being uncontrollably distracted by the site of their own face in a mirror. Such as when they are polishing their helmet. Like they talk to themselves lovingly and you are not sure if they are talking about the game, the update, the news, or just how good they look. During this, Moia's rep could turn to leave and a finger just appears pointing for them to stay.
