This will be my last rant for awhile, I liked the synergy between Animate Dead and tank armor such as Ganodermic and Cryptbloom, it made things bearable for me but the tradeoff was longer kill times, nerfing the DPS of FSOA means longer kill times and you're taking more damage, why would I opt for that when I can still take more damage with Range but get 1-2 minute kills, it doesn't make sense, there was a balance between the two, but now Range is the clear winner.
I was super excited for Necromancy with the current Meta, however now I have sold all my Mage gear after sinking Billions of GP into this particular skill, it isn't hard to see that Mage gear is crashing, Cryptbloom is down 200m GP, FSOA is down half a Billion GP, meanwhile Bolg sits between 5 Billion and 10 Billion GP on any given day, I could understand nerfing the Animate Dead spell if you were going to increase Magic DPS to match that of Range kills which vary between 1-2 minutes per kill, but they didn't do that, instead they're going to nerf both Animate Dead and Magic DPS, meaning you will not only take more damage, you will also take longer to kill the enemy, and my time to kill is already 7 minutes.
And even then, nerfing the tank abilities to increase DPS would just make the game more tedious, more people preferred the way of Cryptbloom/Gano with Animate over Ranged because it was more bearable as a playstyle, far less click intensive, it allowed many of us to learn bosses we otherwise wouldn't have attempted, there is so much benefit in the current meta, taking it away means I will personally never boss again, I was using this meta to learn bossing so that when I could afford proper DPS Range gear, I would have all the boss mechanics down, I can't do that anymore because now Mage Gear and Weapons are like Range Gear and Weapons, only far worse in terms of DPS and slightly better in terms of Damage taken, don't do this for the love of God.
