Is this some kind of a joke? Honest to God, they had the Bladed Dive ability unlockable through Shattered worlds for 63 million Anima so after doing this Jagex thought it was a good idea to release a pre-requisite quest for an even more garbage ability therefore locking Bladed Dive behind the Succession Quest, why on earth would you lock an already unlocked ability behind a quest, that's the most moronic thing I've ever seen and it isn't the first time it's happened either, they did it with the Watchtower teleport back in the day too when they introduced Achievement Diaries.

I honestly don't know what the hell is going on here but somebody needs to have a sit down with these developers and straighten them out, don't lock already unlocked content behind new content, it's beyond moronic and I can't believe this is still happening in the year 2023, what an absolute joke.

Okay so Bladed Dive was first introduced to to Shattered Worlds for 63 million Anima which many of us unlocked, it was then locked behind the dive ability which is only unlockable by completing the quest Succession, which is also locked behind 4 pre-requisite quests and a tier 5 infernal puzzle box, so they added an extra 5 pre-requisites to Bladed Dive, it's stupid, it's beyond stupid, why would you lock an already unlocked piece of content behind another piece of content that has an extra 5 pre-requisites, none of this makes any sort of sense at all, we already have surge, seriously wtf?

how was it locked behind more content?

i think you have misunderstood the change

the change that happened ages ago, made it so people with 5 agility unlocked it with the quest.
what you mention with bladed dive is added on to that, or was already unlocked with bladed dive

so the quest you mention unlocked "dive" which came out with the quest you mention. bladed dive is an upgraded version of that, that was out before.

Jesus I made a mistake I thought they just locked the bladed dive ability behind Dive which is what I read but bladed dive still works provided you have 2 weapons, someone can delete this thread wow that made me so mad for a second lol
