Depends what country you live in legally.
However if you pay to rent an account and Jagex bans you and tells you why they banned you, for something not against the rules then claims you bug abused that's something people should know considering they're paying to rent accounts, buying levels, and spending time, and buying lootboxes.
So before you do spend in game people
should be made aware jagex own their account
, the rules don't apply to some people. They don't do their jobs properly and you shouldn't play.
It's already abundantly clear.

Everyone who plays RS should know this already.

It's written clearly in capital letters in the T&C, which we all agree to for us to be able to access the game.

"
THE JAGEX PRODUCTS AND ANY ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE ARE LICENSED TO YOU, NOT SOLD. YOUR LICENSE CONFERS NO TITLE OR OWNERSHIP TO THE JAGEX PRODUCTS OR SOFTWARE.
"

It's even clearly stated that everything in our account is owned by Jagex.

"
Virtual Currency and Micro-Game Credits do not have any inherent monetary value and are not your own private property. When you purchase or acquire the license to use Virtual Currency or Micro-Game Credits, you do not own the Virtual Currency or Micro-Game Credits. Instead they constitute an element of your license in the relevant Jagex Product. Similarly, any Virtual Currency or Micro-Game Credits balance shown in your Account does not constitute a real-world balance or reflect any stored monetary value in any real-world currency.
"

"
Jagex Product Bonds: (i) do not have any real-world monetary value; (ii) cannot be redeemed for real world money and cannot be inherited; and (iii) are not your own private property. A Jagex Product Bond constitutes an element of your license in a Jagex Product.

Something is just not adding up. I am thinking that the OP, and others who claim they where banned for RWTing the next day after buying bonds are not being truthful. I am thinking they where engaged in RWTing, had an investigation done by Jagex, and claiming it was because they bought bonds to cover their asses. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

As already pointed out by multiple responses here, Jagex does not take immediate action against accounts they believe to be violating the rules when it comes to RWT.

If you received an RWT ban the day after buying bonds from Jagex, it proves quite clearly that it wasn't the bonds purchase that resulted in the ban (as should be obvious anyway) but obviously some RWT behaviour days or weeks prior to the ban being issued.

With that extra level of detail I'm closing this thread as the forums aren't the place to complain or appeal bans, that's what the official appeals process is for (should your offence offer an appeal).

Thanks
Joel
