Yeah makes no sense that they would remove the buffs because people are whining about it. If you dont like the Hero Pass, then dont complete it? Really dumb. It is not affecting you if you dont play the Hero Pass. They just want something to complain about. Jagex will never be able to do anything right because the player base is stuck in the past.

People want daily challenges back. I think they saw enough membership cancellations to do this. I need my blue charms back.

In my opinion, the majority of cosmetics are awful and need some rework, specially for players with female avatars.

Apart from that, I'm kinda ok with Hero Pass. It's a Grindfest and I love those :P
Leveling +110 all skills and completing stuff here and there

Because the buffs break the balance of the game and pave the way for it becoming P2W. That's why they affect us even if we don't like them, we'd have to work a little bit harder to achieve what others can achieve more easily just by spending real world money...

If anything, the game has progressed a lot thanks to the times in which Jagex and the community worked hand in hand, or have you forgotten that poll that marked the return of free trade?

I'm losing a buff today that I acquired through normal gameplay. I don't have Premier Hero Pass, but I do have some unused charges of Fort Artisan.

I haven't used them all yet, because I'm still working on the woodcutting & construction levels for most of the tier 3 fort improvements.

These charges weren't overpowered, they were just a nice little extra.

I don't see how a nice little extra that can be acquired through regular gameplay is going to "pave the way for it becoming P2W".

that wasnt the issue

and it was a huge issue. the complaint was that mtx gave huge buffs to game. that was the main issue with it. not that people disliked hero pass (to an extent) it was the rewards from mtx gave huge buffs that shouldnt be a reward from mtx content


but the duality of rs community. hero pass comes out, rants filled with threads about hero pass. they change it listening to community. people complain about the change lmao

either way the change is correct it puts it in the right direction. but it shows what jagex are wanting to implement with mtx. and thats not good

its a joke, its just poor kids cant afford premier membership, fair for those who work long hours and like these things as a buff/catchup to the no lifers that spent all day playing without having to work/ or cant afford it cause they cannot manage their life/money. i am currently trying to refund the premier

Well they nerfed necromancy xp rates too I need my blue charms back.

They will be alt accounts being cancelled, they're not representative of individuals, but for all intents and purposes (£££) they might as well be. It's the alt farming players hit most by this. If you want my opinion, those lot can sod off anyway. eg: 1 person being vocal on 3x accounts. Bob says:
