I've seen it suggested that if you don't like other players' feedback, just contact a moderator after making your post and have them lock the thread.

Seems reasonable enough to me.

But it's kind of a pain both to the poster and to moderators (I'd assume) to have to ask them each time.

Would it be a bad thing if we could lock our own threads?
