In terms of the mail, I'd hazard a guess at a week, give or take, basing that on how long it takes my mum every year to send me a Christmas card (which I've told her to stop doing - save the paper!) from the UK to Canada.

But formal complaint processes based on experience aren't usually speedy processes anyway.

As I've said, the appropriate channel will depend entirely on the situation and issue in question as outlined in my posts above.

I'm not sure what could be serious enough in your situation to warrant it but seems to me that the formal writing process is the route to go down.

LOL - I find it funny how quickly they managed to remove the section 20 line from their support pages
I know, meanwhile I've been trying to get them to update the rules in the highly outdated Forum Offence System for years (last updated in 2014).

I was impressed how quickly the support page was edited though. ^_^
You can easily make a thread about what you do find outdated and giving suggestions how to update it without a thread being locked/dismissed, so I fail to see the point of this thread.

If I have a complaint about a policy, or the actions/inactions of a Jagex employee, etc., where would that be submitted on the website? Obviously it's not the forums, right? So where would that be?

Maybe you could just ask Mod Kari what the appropriate channel is?
I'm better than you, but that doesn't mean you're not great! :)

Please refer to the T&Cs instructions for the formal writing process. If you wish to complain about what you describe in your post, the formal process seems to be most appropriate.

With that said, there's no further reason to keep this thread open or to have it be reposted.
