Since a week or so I have been developing a website for the clan I'm in. For this I use the RS3 API to get info to show.
To get the newest information I call the API every 20 min with about 110 clanmembers. The URL I'm calling for myself for instance would be: http://secure.runescape.com/m=hiscore/index_lite.ws?player=HC_Kloeperd.
At first this was working fine, but after a bit less than a day I'm getting back a 404 on the API. I have tried to look into it but no luck so far. I was wondering, is it possible that I call the API too often and the IP of my VPS is blocked or something?
If this won't happen, then I guess I have to look for the issue somewhere else.
