RS3 General Forum is by far the most active forum. It is quite easy to understand so because RS3 has far more content and is far more actively adding new updates, and don't forget there are all kind of older content in the past 22 years players still want to talk about, as well as opinions on the future of Jagex/RS3 all kinds of players want to share.

RS3 General Forum is the general hub of general discussions for the past, the present and the future as RS3 is about the past, the present and the future, compared to the OSRS forums that are vastly focused on only complaints of the current present state of OSRS. Far more topic to discuss for general RS3 affairs frequently lead to far more active RS3 General Forum.

I was actually tracking this sort of thing for a while. It's been over a year ago at this point, but this is what it looked like while I was doing so:

From 04-Jan-2022 through 17-Jan-2022 (12 days, 21 hours, 37 mins between data collection):

The forum with the most new threads was Weapons, Armor & Skilling Supplies with 314 new threads.
The forum with the most new posts was Old School Clans with 7,917 new posts.

From 17-Jan-2022 through 01-Feb-2022 (14 days, 22 hours, 47 mins between data collection):

The forum with the most new threads was Weapons, Armor & Skilling Supplies with 304 new threads.
The forum with the most new posts was Old School Clans with 7,404 new posts.

From 01-Feb-2022 through 22-Feb-2022 (20 days, 20 hours, 50 mins between data collection):

The forum with the most new threads was Weapons, Armor & Skilling Supplies with 380 new threads.
The forum with the most new posts was Old School Clans with 9,142 new posts.

From 22-Feb-2022 through 14-Mar-2022 (20 days, 5 hours, 22 mins between data collection):

The forum with the most new threads was Weapons, Armor & Skilling Supplies with 291 new threads.
The forum with the most new posts was Old School Clans with 10,369 new posts.

This is really interesting, especially the slight changes over time.

It would be interesting to see how the new threads/posts data compares with views/clicks.
