This has likely been posted before and apologies if it’s still circulating, but I was talking to friends in game and the topic of forums came up, and why they no longer use them. The reason pretty much being down to a couple of forumers who were pretty much a nuisance and they didn’t want the hassle of dealing with them anymore.
Now these forumers technically behaved within the rules of the forums (for the most part), so my friends pretty much felt as though there was nothing they could do and being fed up just quit the forums.
So I think to fix this and maybe get more people using the forums, we should have the ability to just hide another players posts, so we don’t have to deal with their nonsense.
Tl;dr - let us hide another players posts, if they are constantly being a nuisance.

Jagex and their supposed "curators" over recent times have made it abundantly clear through their inaction that they don't give a flying mithril bar about the forums at all.
And why would they, really? It's all about the Twitter, or Reddit, or Facebook, or Twitch, or....yeah. Anywhere but here.

As to the social media reach or lack of enthusiasm. When you can reach millions that don't play your game, or many who do and you can interact with them in real time out of the office. That allure is something most can't or won't pass up. Never mind the fact the social media teams aren't the same people as the forum curators.
